Childhood & School Life
My first house was a house on Minor ave in Chula Vista, CA. At the age of 5, I moved with my grandma and my mom to Lakeside. I went to Lemon Crest Elementary School. Shortly after I moved to La Mesa with my mom and went to Northmont Elementary School. During elementary school I had a lot of friends and was the biggest sweet heart. I went to Parkway Middle School and went through an awkward, weird, scene stage. Safe to say the friends I had were all a little weird. I then attended West Hills High School and decided to change myself. It worked out for the first year, but after that I decided to be myself and just go with the flow. As high school has gone on, I realized that i didn't want to have any part in high school drama. I don't have very many friends at school. All of my friends are older and graduated. Thus, I am definitely eager to get out of here.

Hobbies and Interests

My hobbies and interests include photography, shows and hanging out with my friends. Photography has been a hobby since i was very little and someday i hope to make money off of it. I would love to take live music photography, because i love shows so much. I have been going to shows since I was a freshman and fo to them often. I listen to a little bit of everything but I mostly listen to various forms of hardcore. Hanging out with my friends is a given. I hang out with someone every day of the week. I dont know where I would be without them. I enjoy socializing and going out; I do these very often.

Anecdotes
Me at the beach in Hawaii
When I was about 11 years old, i went with my all star cheer team, West Coast Mavericks, to Hawaii. We left on a thursday for a 2 day national cheer competition. When we got to Hawaii, all i wanted to do was go to the beach and go swimming, but our coaches wouldn't let us. According to them, going swimming would make us too tired to perform our best the next day. We were told to be in bed by 9pm and asleep by 10pm. At 9pm, all the cheer coaches came around to our rooms to check and make sure we were in bed, or ready for bed. Luckily, They missed mine, and two of my friends rooms. Our parents took us all down to the ocean and we swam for a couple hours. The next day was our first day of our 2 day competition. It was extremely intimidating to see all those teams from so many places. I was on Sr. Co-ed Level 2 and my teams time to perform came up relatively quickly. We got on stage and killed it. I was sure we had first place in the bag, but not by much. I knew if we did just as good, then we could have the 1st place trophy. The next day I felt a little different, but I was still ready to go. When the music started, all my nerves went away. We had done this routine so many times; muscle memory. As the pyramid came up, I got myself mentally ready. I had to do a 180 full up and a hitch, but when I went for the full up, my ankle buckled, and then my knee and hip. I balanced myself for dear life and did my best to keep myself up. Luckily, i was able to hold it together. At the end of our performance, I ran off the stage crying. I knew we wouldn’t be getting first anymore, and it was all my fault. Awards came later that night, and level 2 team awards were being announced. To my surprise, we got first! and not only first, we got grand national champions, which means my team got the highest score out of every team and every level from mini’s to High School to Senior Co-ed level 6. I couldn’t have been more proud of us. That day I learned that no matter what, never lose hope.

Another time something big happened was just a couple weeks ago. I drove with my boyfriend, my friend Alizabeth, and her boyfriend up to San Bernardino, CA. We were going to the Self Help Festival, which was pretty much a large festival. The line up was A Day To Remember, Bring Me The Horizon, Of Mice & Men, The Story So Far, Memphis May Fire, Attila, The Word Alive, Stick To Your Guns, Issues, Let Live, Terror, A Skylit Drive, Hands Like Houses, Beartooth, and Hundredth. We arrived at the NOS event center at around 11am so we could all get our tickets. When we got there, people we already lining up and the lines were long. My boyfriend bought us the Courtesy Package, which came with a poster, a t-shirt, a laminate, a beach ball, and a ticket. It also got us meet n greets with the bands and gave us access to a special VIP area. My favorite band, Stick To Your Guns was playing on the indoor stage and I was super stoked. When they started I lost all composure. I was standing in/near a pit and all of a sudden I heard a loud smack and then I saw blood. I got punched in the nose and was bleeding all over the place. My friends had left to the front of the stage and my boyfriend had gone to get a shirt signed for my friend, so I wiped off the blood with my shirt and kept going. Later that night, I was standing against the fence on the left side of the crowd during Bring Me The Horizon when I saw a guy with a media pass. He was a photographer and so I got his attention. I asked him how he got to be a photographer for a big show like this and he told me about the publication he works for. I showed him some of my photos and he recommended that I email his boss and he would put in a good word for me. I said thank you after we got eachothers information and he walked away. A few minutes later, he came back and asked “You wouldn’t happen to have your camera equipment on you? Because if you do, I will give you my photo pass and you can go backstage and take pictures for A Day To Remember”. I had my camera, but I didn't have my battery with me. Im not going to lie I cried for a good hour. I felt like that moment would never happen again and I was furious with myself. But in the end, I got the chance to work for a publication, a photographer really liked my work, and I learned to always be prepared with my camera equipment.

Career
Picture of a picture I took on my camera of Walter from Rotting Out
As for career, i have never had a real job, just under-the-table jobs. I worked with my dad and his company W.C Childers Construction. I would mostly just clean up and any other miscellaneous tasks he needed done. When I was a freshman, i helped my neighbor Melinda and her business Aloha Pet Grooming in Satee. I also volunteered at the Santee Food Bank and the Santee Lakes 5K. I almost got a job at Vons in Santee but because my brother and one of the managers got married, I couldn't be hired at that store. I am currently waiting on a call back from a place called Waters Fine Food and catering. I want to be a Live Music Photographer and an advertising consultant.

What I Would Like To Be Known For
I would like to be knows as the San Diego live music photographer that made it. I would also like to be known as a good advertising consultant. I want to make good money and be able to support myself and my family. I want people to think I am strong and independent. I want to be known for the one who makes it and doesn't struggle with financial or family problems. Just like everyone else, I want to be happy.
